Ministry Through Music
Joe Hubbard Ministries exists to encourage biblical worship, to stir personal and corporate revival, and to help God's people share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Since 1998, Joe has carried that calling through music, playing saxophone and clarinet for audiences from the White House to churches large and small, and in two recordings, Timeless Truth and Legacy of Truth. After a serious back injury, he can no longer travel and perform as he once did, but the music remains, and so does the prayer behind it: that these songs would keep offering hope and pointing hearts to God's timeless truth.
From 'The President's Own' to the Church
Joe grew up in a Christian home and trusted Christ as his Savior at the age of twelve. He earned a Bachelor of Music Education from Central Methodist University and a Master of Arts from the Conservatory of Music at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and he served as a member of 'The President's Own' United States Marine Band in Washington, D.C. His playing ranges from classical to inspirational jazz, always in service of one message. Joe and his wife Karen have been married since 1983 and are the parents of three children, Allison, James, and Jarod.
